T&P are together on their way to Val di Mello.  Scapi, faithful companion on so many travels, could not complete this journey.  We will all miss this member of the family.  After a life filled with excitement and caring, lazy days grooming on the couch, surviving snake bites, ticks and wasps on the crags, rescuing abandoned cat food, and sharing infinite hugs and kisses with all kind bipeds, especially the sad ones, her time was up.  Charlie and Paolo are there to continue her life’s work - but with such a sudden void, now’s the time for some loving help from all her friends.

    That is very sad news.

On the other hand imagining Paolo continuing Scapi’s good work in taking care of abandoned cat food makes me smile.
And thinking about seeing you guys in Val di Mello this weekend for a very happy reason makes me smile again.
    Kisses,

Scapi will be missed. I am so sorry to read about her passing. She was such a well loved furry companion, I can’t imagine the pain of loosing her.
I wish I could be there with you guys to give you hugs in sorrow for loosing a friend and in joy for the happiness that is to come this weekend.
My heart is with you guys and I can NOT wait to see you when you move to the states. (Let me know the exact day so I can fly in and meet you at the airport!)
    :-)
To end with a happy note off of a very sad event,
    CONGRATULATIONS TAZ AND PAOLO!!!!
I love you both soooooo, so, so, sooooo much! and I am absolutely excited for this winter and your big move west. I hope this weekend is utterly fantastic and you both feel surrounded by the love of the ones you hold dear.

I can’t imagine Taz without Scapi. What a wonderful dog and companion…she will be missed!

  • Tibedeaux Says:

Taz–I am so sorry to hear that the high flying ninja, stealthy splinter cell operative Scapi–code name “Bathroom Trash”, has retired to her doggie reward in the sky.

I know how much she meant to you and that she successfully completed many important missions during her service to the Dog Intelligence Agency (DIA)–not the least of which was “Operation Bathroom Window”.

I raise my glass to a good agent and a great dog.
